"The proposed cottage cluster development incorporates many of the aging-in-place features including having almost all primary features (bathroom, bedroom, washer/dryer etc.) on the main floor... The smaller footprint/size of the cottages would likely increase energy efficiency and affordability for both younger generations and older generations. The inclusion of the green spaces and native plant species shows thoughtful consideration for placemaking as well." - NHOB Juror

"Having lived in a twin home, this design incorporates all the desired amenities allowing greater privacy and sense of the individuality of the home. The design maximizes the scalability to allow for extended family and/or caregiver. Whether a senior and/or handicapped resident, this design does offer many features to allow for necessary variations to support these needs". - NHOB Juror
